About Us
Three Ponds Homestead is our little slice of heaven, hidden away on the outskirts of Orillia/Severn. We are a small family horse farm and newbies to homesteading.
We purchased this adventure property in the winter of 2021 and built our home that year. From the moment we laid eyes on our beautiful 25 acres we knew it was a place that would provide an escape from the hustle and bustle, it would be a place to disconnect to reconnect to what's important to us.
We also knew it would be a place we would share so that people could connect with the serenity here.
We offer glamping, retreats, events, horse boarding and, from time to time, beautiful Aussie Shepherd puppies.

Our 6m diameter Bell Tent sleeps up to 4. It's super cute and is a great option for couples, friends or a family. Solar night lighting adds ambiance when you're sitting around your fire pit.

Things to Know about Glamping with Us
We are currently using Hip Camp and Airbnb platforms. We're Airbnb Superhosts!!
Relax in the Muskoka chairs, hike the trails, play games in our fields, visit the koi ponds, visit our horses over the fence or book our unique Horse Connection Experience! There are tons of local attractions, events, spas and beaches. Our area has so much to offer within a 5-20 minute drive!
We'll greet you when you get here and take you through our property or send you a video. You’ll drive past our horses and our ponds on the way to your site.
At night enjoy your campfire and star gazing and then settle into your comfy accommodation. We offer generous bags of local firewood available for purchase onsite.
Our glamping options are off-grid. No hydro or plumbing (bunkie has a How to use the Propane Heater for winter/spring/fall. Solar outdoor lighting and rechargeable portable lantern available for use. Nexigrill BBQ available for the bunkie and yurt. Please BYO small propane canisters if you wish to use the BBQ. There is a great Amish-built outhouse available to you.
Horseback riding enthusiast? Want to bring your horse and enjoy our trails? We have overnight pasture or stall board available - please contact us for availability or pricing.
What's there to do?
Our property is located on the outskirts of Orillia and bordering Severn. We are 5 minutes from Bass Lake, 10 minutes from grocery stores and great restaurants and 15 minutes to downtown Orillia, the waterfront, marinas and festivals. We're also a 20 minute drive to Burls Creek, Vetta Spa, Horseshoe Valley Resort, Moonstone and Casino Rama.
Activities nearby include trail riding (on and offsite), SUPing, kayaking, swimming, boating, hiking, mountain biking (Hardwood Hills and Simcoe Forest), golf, ATV trails, wildlife watching, Hewitt and Orillia farmers markets, Spa days (Vetta Nordic Spa and Cavana Ridge Spa), weekend events at the Orillia Fairgrounds and Tudhope park, and more. In the winter enjoy snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, skiing/snowboarding, ice skating, snowmobile trails. YES!! We do offer winter glamping.

THREE PONDS
Horse Connection Experience
Get up close and personal with horses on our homestead through a 45 minute guided experience. We will meet and greet the horses and learn a little about each of them. You’ll learn about herd dynamics, horse communication and body language as well as safety.
You will learn a simple breathwork technique to use with the horses to create connection. Guests can participate in grooming, petting, leading, giving the horses treats and of course, a photo op with these majestic beings.
